Come out to the Made in Tahoe Festival and enjoy Alice & the Wonderlandz’s niche-folk, neo-folk Americana anchored by driving tempos, poignant lyrics, and powerful vocals featuring Alice on guitar/vocals and John Kedzie on keyboards.

Made in Tahoe celebrates all things LOCAL. The Village at Palisades Tahoe will host a wide array of offerings that are made in or inspired by the Lake Tahoe Basin and Truckee areas: local artisans, businesses, chefs, organizations, and entertainers. Discover, explore, and experience our rich community full of talented creators while enjoying a variety of local food and beer. All proceeds from the Made in Tahoe bars benefit the Tahoe Food Hub.

Alice Osborn originates from Raleigh, NC, and now lives at Lake Tahoe, California.  Alice’s acoustic originals are influenced by bluegrass, pop, and folk, and diverse artists such as Richard Marx, Natalie Merchant, and John Prine. She frequently returns to the themes of loss, love, and identity; Skirts in the Snow: Beyond the Donner Party is her most recent album. Previous albums include Searching for Paradise and Old Derelicts. Her poetry collections include Heroes without Capes, After the Steaming Stops, and Unfinished Projects. Alice teaches guitar, fiddle, banjo, and ukulele through the Tahoe Truckee School of Music and at Carmichael Elementary in Portola, CA. Alice is currently working on songs for her most personal album yet.

John Kedzie (keyboards for Alice & the Wonderlandz) of Truckee, CA, grew up in Chicago, and graduated from the University of Illinois with an electrical engineering degree, where he met his bride, Cathy, and moved to Silicon Valley. John studied piano and music theory throughout his early adulthood, playing blues and rock ‘n’ roll covers whenever he got the chance. He has played with several bands: Jack up the Porch in Holland, Michigan; Delta Deuce in Concord, CA, as well as rock and roll workshops in Walnut Creek, CA. John moved to Truckee in 2020 and joined the Tahoe Truckee School of Music; since then he has been backing many artists at local events and open mics in Truckee.
