Alice Osborn Performs with Touch of Gold at Donner Ski Ranch, Donner Party Hike Weekend

Location: Donner Ski Ranch, 19320 Donner Pass Rd, Norden, CA 95724

Date: Saturday, September 7, 2023

Time: noon to 1 p.m.  Taking place in the Donner Ski Ranch parking lot after the historic hikes.

Many of us know about the one of the worst western migration stories in our history: the Donner Party. They were farmers, merchants, and families who ventured West to California to start a new life, but half of the party did not survive. George Donner led the infamous party of 1846 but he never survived to see Donner Lake, Donner Pass, or cross into land he dreamed about. Sit back after the Donner Party summit hikes to meet George Donner, Tamsen Donner, and their youngest daughter Eliza, share their hopes, dreams, and fears with you, accompanied by new songs written by Rick Mitchell (Touch of Gold) and Alice Osborn (Alice & the Wonderlandz).
